Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between King Kings (ranked 25561 p4p, 25486 weight class) and Bambam Abbott (ranked 728 p4p, 769 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of The Island, King Kings! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bambam Abbott! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abbott lands with a shot to the body. Kings is looking to clinch but Abbott is avoiding it.
Abbott throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kings swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Kings lands with an overhand left. Nice sprawl there from Kings as Abbott shoots in. Kings is looking to counter punch. Abbott shoots for a takedown but Kings saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. It looked like Kings wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Kings swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Abbott has Kings up against the cage in a clinch.

Kings definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kings throws a punch but it's blocked by Abbott. Abbott blocks an uppercut.
Abbott has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Abbott throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kingss head. Kings has Abbott pressed against the cage, preventing Abbott from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Kings throws a head punch that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abbott tries to pull guard but Kings holds him up against the cage and eventually Abbott drops back down to his feet.
King Kings has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bambam Abbott. Abbott using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kings has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Kings pushes Abbott back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Kings is pressed up against the cage. Abbott has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kings down to the mat. Kings avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Kings clinches up with Abbott and pushes him back against the cage. Abbott blocking some punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Abbott wants a takedown but no success here.

Bambam Abbott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Abbott throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kings was covering up waiting for the punch and Abbott finishes the takedown easily into guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kings is on top in guard.
King Kings is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kings has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Abbott is proving hard to escape from. Kings controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Kings wanted to stand there but Abbott had control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kings controls from within his opponent's guard. Kings gets to his feet. Abbott looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nice takedown defense from Kings. No joy for Abbott on that attempt. Kings throws a looping overhand right but Abbott ducks down to avoid it. Bambam Abbott has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kings gets in close and instigates a clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! King Kings showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kings has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
