Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Chandrasekhar (ranked 1677 p4p, 2160 weight class) and Robin Banks (ranked 190 p4p, 240 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Banks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chandrasekhar paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Chandrasekhar throws a looping overhand right but Banks ducks down to avoid it.
Chandrasekhar lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Chandrasekhar drops Banks with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Banks looks back up at him and smiles so Chandrasekhar waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Banks is rocked!
Chandrasekhar drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Banks right on the button. Banks goes down! Chandrasekhar follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Chandrasekhar gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Chandrasekhar!
