Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Morrison (ranked 2380 p4p, 2385 weight class) and Buddy Taylor (ranked 279 p4p, 282 weight class). Morrison's entrance music is March. A fine choice. Taylor has chosen Bad Reputation as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frank Morrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and David Hoff.

Morrison closes the distance and clinches up with Taylor, looking for a takedown. Morrison pushes Taylor against the cage but Taylor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Morrison shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Taylor manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Morrison definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Morrison keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Taylor's head.
Morrison drops back looking for a leg! Taylor is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Taylor manages to kick Morrison off! Morrison jumps back into Taylor's guard.
Morrison seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Morrison slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Morrison looks up at the clock and then as Taylor takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Morrison smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Morrison is staying tight to Taylor's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Taylor takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Taylor tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Morrison loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Taylor scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Morrison land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Morrison stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Morrison!
During a confident post fight interview, Frank Morrison thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Buddy Taylor stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'll be back ..stronger '.
