Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peetu Tam (ranked 1381 p4p, 1546 weight class) and Island Fighter (ranked 167 p4p, 183 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Peetu Tam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Island Fighter! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tam throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fighter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Tam throws a low kick but it's checked well by Fighter. Fighter swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fighter lands a nice hook to Tam's body. Tam takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Tam misses with a low kick.
Fighter throws out a counter right but Tam avoids it with no problem. Fighter rushes Tam and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Tam takes a shot to the head.
It looks like Peetu Tam has been cut. Fighter tries a body shot but Tam blocks it.
Fighter lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Tam. Fighter lands a hook to the side of the head. Tam blocks a body shot from Fighter. Tam throws an elbow but it misses.
Tam drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Fighter gets the underhooks and prevents it.
I was talking to Tam's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Nice body punch from Fighter - that landed with a thud.
Fighter goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter lands with a short head shot on the inside. Fighter lands a nice uppercut. Tam is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Fighter is keeping busy. Fighter is working Tam over against the cage. Tam is breathing heavily. A nice right hand lands inside from Fighter. Tam takes a shot to the head. Fighter lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Tam. A right hook to the body lands for Fighter.
Fighter stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Fighter lands a hook to the side of the head. Tam takes a shot to the head. A short right from Fighter on the inside. This has been an exciting period of action! Fighter lands a nice uppercut. Fighter lands with a right to the head. A right handed body shot lands from Fighter.
Fighter scores with an uppercut up the middle. Fighter lands a right hand.
Tam is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tam blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Oh Tam is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tam blocks an uppercut.
Fighter works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Tam seems to have got his legs back now. Fighter creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Tam with a big uppercut! Tam tries to clinch up but Fighter pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Tam to the mat! Tam covers up and Fighter unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Island Fighter! After winning the bout, Island Fighter thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
