The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peuralinna misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Shirahama is looking to clinch.
Shirahama tries to clinch but Peuralinna is having none of it.
Peuralinna tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shirahama swivels and escapes.
Peuralinna keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Peuralinna takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Peuralinna shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Peuralinna goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Shirahama is on top in guard.

Peuralinna has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shirahama can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Shirahama tries to stand but Peuralinna is controlling from the bottom.
Shirahama must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Peuralinna tries to get to full guard but Shirahama has control of the leg.

Shirahama wants to work for an arm triangle but Peuralinna is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Shirahama wants to stand but Peuralinna is controlling his posture from full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Shirahama is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Peuralinna has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Shirahama is looking to defend but Peuralinna has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Shirahama! Peuralinna pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Shirahama taps out and this one is all over!
