Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ville Vainio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Bee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ville Vainio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bruce Bee!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vainio gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bee tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Vainio just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Bee pulls guard effortlessly.
Vainio wants to pass the guard but Bee is keeping the position.
Bee pulls Vainio in close to prevent any damage.
Vainio gets to his feet. Bee looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Vainio drives through with a takedown into guard.
Vainio works over Bee with some ground and pound from guard.
Bee is trying to keep Vainio in close.
Vainio throwing strikes but missing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vainio accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bee jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vainio walks away with a smile on his face. Bee gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nice takedown defense from Vainio. No joy for Bee on that attempt.
Ville Vainio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Bee.

so Vainio counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Vainio lands a couple of elbows.
Vainio postures up in Bee's guard and throws a big left but Bee blocks it.

Vainio fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bee sprawls well initially but Vainio persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vainio decides to stand up.
Vainio misses with a takedown attempt - Bee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Vainio is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Bee has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vainio avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Bee changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Vainio fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vainio looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vainio changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vainio is fending him off so far but Bee persists. Nope, Vainio circles away and we're back to standing.
Vainio misses with a wild combination.
Ville Vainio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vainio is looking for a sweep. Bee is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Bee is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vainio is just riding it out for now. Bee eventually gives up the hold.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Bee looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Vainio closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Bee takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Bee explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

That was a close second round but I would say that Ville Vainio will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Bee shoots in looking for a takedown. Vainio tries to sprawl out of it but Bee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Vainio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Bee had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Vainio is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bee Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Vainio's back instead.
Vainio is trying to shake Bee off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Bee won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.

Vainio is looking to work some ground and pound but Bee has wrist control.
Bee isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Vainio stacks Bee on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Vainio!

Well Vainio has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
