Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cees Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pupu Tupuna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tupuna has chosen Risto - Pupu Tupuna as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pupu Tupuna was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem looks to land a combination but Tupuna avoids it well.
Overeem with a jab.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Tupuna breaks the clinch.
Tupuna uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Overeem.
Tupuna misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Tupuna wants to get back to his feet but Overeem is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Tupuna tries to hold on but Overeem pushes him away.
Tupuna holds on to Overeem as tight as he can, avoiding damage.
Tupuna tries to lock up and control but Overeem gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Overeem shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tupuna but Tupuna pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Pupu Tupuna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tupuna cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Pupu Tupuna showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

and Overeem counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tupuna won't be happy with that.

Overeem decides to stand back up. Overeem steps back and let's Tupuna get back to his feet.

Overeem shoots in and bounces Tupuna off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Tupuna will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Overeem misses with a takedown attempt - Tupuna sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Overeem tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Overeem dodges the punch combination from Tupuna.

Overeem shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tupuna tries to close the distance and clinch but Overeem swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Overeem feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
