McKnight looks to score with a jab to the body but Ortiz is just out of range.

McKnight felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Ortiz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McKnight is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
McKnight really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ortiz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ortiz breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
