And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cristian Eriksen!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.

Zynne throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

and Eriksen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Zynne gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Eriksen counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Eriksen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zynne.
Zynne lands a nice hook to Eriksen's body. Eriksen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Zynne lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Eriksen needs to keep his hands up - Zynne had a free shot at his head there.

A left lands for Zynne.
Zynne lands a big head kick that sends Eriksen tumbling to the mat! Zynne takes a step backwards and waves Eriksen back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Cristian Eriksen has been cut.

Eriksen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

A decent looking cross lands there for Zynne.
Eriksen is rocked!
Zynne fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Eriksen out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Howard Zynne!
After the fight, Howard Zynne was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
