Rodrigez closes the distance but Ferreira-Alves moves to the side
and Ferreira-Alves counters with a stiff right hand.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rodrigez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A jab lands there for Ferreira-Alves.
Rodrigez tries a head kick but it misses.

Ferreira-Alves has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Rodrigez drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ferreira-Alves defends it well.
Rodrigez gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ferreira-Alves's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ferreira-Alves just misses with a punch to the body.
Ferreira-Alves throws out a leg kick but Rodrigez moves out of range and Ferreira-Alves only half commits.
Rodrigez tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Rodrigez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ferreira-Alves but Ferreira-Alves pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ferreira-Alves fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rodrigez.
Rodrigez closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Emanuel Rodrigez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Ferreira-Alves counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Felipe Ferreira-Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emanuel Rodrigez.
Ferreira-Alves thuds his right hand into Rodrigez's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Rodrigez is still on wobbly legs! Can Ferreira-Alves finish him?
Ferreira-Alves cracks Rodrigez with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

Felipe Ferreira-Alves really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that HELLBENT/Cayman Islands Clothiers logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
In defeat, Emanuel Rodrigez stepped up to the mic, saying 'PUTA!!!'.
