Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alen Sola (ranked 6089 p4p, 6072 weight class) and Tubby Steed (ranked 494 p4p, 491 weight class). Tubby Steed will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tubby Steed!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.

Steed shoots in but Sola avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Steed dives in and grabs Sola's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sola pushes down on Steed's head and hops out.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Alen Sola will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Sola bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Steed's head backwards.
Steed moves into the clinch successfully.
Sola tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Steed's elbow.

Sola will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Steed is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sola defends well.

Sola leaves Steed with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Sola here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
