Some wild striking there from Rockatansky.
Rockatansky looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rockatansky lands a left and a right that send Masvidal crashing to the mat, dazed. Rockatansky thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Nate Masvidal has been cut.

letting Masvidal counter with a right hand.

Rockatansky rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Masvidal moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Masvidal was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Rockatansky has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Masvidal throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
As Masvidal backs off Rockatansky throws a huge counter combo but Masvidal manages to avoid it all.

Masvidal lands with a hook. Rockatansky tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Rockatansky pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Masvidal back to the cage. Rockatansky follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Maximilian Rockatansky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Masvidal is pawing at Rockatansky, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Rockatansky's nose. Rockatansky is badly hurt! Masvidal pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Rockatansky tries desperately to hold on but Masvidal is relentless in his assault! As Rockatansky receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Masvidal away and this one is in the books!
