Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pierre Joseph Proudhon (ranked 2005 p4p, 2456 weight class) and Huggle Muffin Sweetie Pie (ranked 263 p4p, 311 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pierre Joseph Proudhon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Huggle Muffin Sweetie Pie! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Proudhon scores with a jab. Sweetie Pie acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Proudhon misses with an uppercut. Sweetie Pie only half commits to the counter leg kick. Sweetie Pie takes the fight into the clinch. Sweetie Pie using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Proudhon has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Sweetie Pie tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Sweetie Pie lands a shoulder strike. Proudhon breaks the clinch.
Sweetie Pie has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Oooooh!!! Proudhon has knocked Sweetie Pie down with a huge combo! Proudhon steps away and waves a wobbly Sweetie Pie back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Huggle Muffin Sweetie Pie has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Proudhon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sweetie Pie sees it coming and avoids it easily. Sweetie Pie steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Sweetie Pie showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Proudhon.

That's one minute gone in the round. Proudhon missing with a left hand there. Sweetie Pie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A big right from Proudhon misses. and Sweetie Pie counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sweetie Pie moves out of range of the strikes. Sweetie Pie drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Proudhon defends it well. Proudhon takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Proudhon's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sweetie Pie connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Proudhon scrambles back to his feet. Sweetie Pie steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Proudhon. Sweetie Pie throws out a counter right but Proudhon avoids it with no problem. Proudhon throws a jab but it's blocked by Sweetie Pie. Sweetie Pie wants to counter the offense by Proudhon and move into the clinch position. Proudhon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sweetie Pie sees it coming and avoids it easily. Proudhon scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sweetie Pie bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Proudhon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Proudhon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sweetie Pie was well out of range. Poor timing from Proudhon. Proudhon throws a big shot that misses. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Proudhon lands a slapping body shot.

Sweetie Pie defending well as Proudhon loads up on a big left hand. Sweetie Pie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Proudhon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sweetie Pie working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Sweetie Pie creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Proudhon sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Proudhon prevents Sweetie Pie from improving position. Proudhon defending against the ground and pound. Sweetie Pie tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Sweetie Pie is trying to ground and pound but Proudhon uses the momentary lack of control by Sweetie Pie to regain half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sweetie Pie lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Sweetie Pie misses with a head shot. Proudhon uses the momentum to regain guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sweetie Pie throwing strikes from guard but Proudhon blocks nicely. Sweetie Pie is looking to work some ground and pound but Proudhon has wrist control. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Proudhon throws a body punch but Sweetie Pie moves out of range. Sweetie Pie is looking to clinch. It looked like Proudhon wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Proudhon throws a shot to the body.

Proudhon throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Proudhon cracks Sweetie Pie with an open hand slap. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sweetie Pie needs to keep his hands up - Proudhon had a free shot at his head there. Sweetie Pie drops his hands momentarily and Proudhon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round. Proudhon throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sweetie Pie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Sweetie Pie seems to have recovered his senses. Proudhon lands a big right hand that sends Sweetie Pie crashing to the mat! Proudhon stays standing though and waves Sweetie Pie back to his feet! Pierre Joseph Proudhon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sweetie Pie keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Proudhon. Proudhon swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Sweetie Pie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Proudhon here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Proudhon looks to throw the jab but Sweetie Pie is out of range. Proudhon cracks Sweetie Pie with an open hand slap.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sweetie Pie slips under a jab from Proudhon. Proudhon misses with an uppercut. Sweetie Pie tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Nice defenses there by Sweetie Pie. Proudhon sets himself, and Sweetie Pie steps forward looking for the clinch! Proudhon avoids it this time. Sweetie Pie darts in trying to clinch and Proudhon counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Pierre Joseph Proudhon is winning the standup battle so far. Sweetie Pie misses with a jab, cross combination.
Proudhon connects with a single shot there. Proudhon misses with a wild body shot. Sweetie Pie takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Proudhon catches Sweetie Pie with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Sweetie Pie wants to clinch and Proudhon makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Sweetie Pie doesn't succeed with the takedown and Proudhon counters with a stiff right hand. Proudhon jabbing away but nothing is landing. Sweetie Pie swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Proudhon dips down and scores with a jab to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Proudhon misses with a hook
and Sweetie Pie counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Proudhon throws a shot from downtown. Sweetie Pie moves away and avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sweetie Pie slips a jab and a cross from Proudhon.

Proudhon sizes up Sweetie Pie with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Proudhon pounces like a tiger and cracks Sweetie Pie with a vicious hook! Sweetie Pie is down but not out! Proudhon follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
