Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Makoa Aketu (ranked 2870 p4p, 2135 weight class) and King Panda (ranked 132 p4p, 105 weight class). King Panda has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

Aketu scores with a hook.
Aketu lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Aketu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Panda's hands.
A right-left combo lands from Aketu.
Aketu has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Sparring in the buildup to the fight.
Aketu dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Aketu is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Aketu digs a good hook to Panda's body.
Panda shoots for a double leg takedown but Aketu sprawls well. He's pushed Panda's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Aketu tries to counter by clinching up but Panda breaks away and moves out of range.
Aketu jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aketu thuds his right hand into Panda's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Panda takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Aketu cracks Panda with a good jab.
Panda just misses with a punch to the body.
Panda's coach down at Prosper Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Panda's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Panda throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Aketu's corner calls for a 1-2. Aketu obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Panda gets the takedown into side control.
Aketu is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Panda has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Panda cracks Aketu with a big right hand but Aketu just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Aketu takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Panda scores with punches from side control.
Panda is trying to get an arm triangle but Aketu is defending well.
Panda in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
The strikes coming from Panda are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Panda misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Panda connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Aketu some visible discomfort.

Panda tries to move into full mount but can't pass Aketu's legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Panda has isolated one of Aketu's arms. Aketu looking to fight him off but Panda twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
