Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Youngblood (ranked 4694 p4p, 7336 weight class) and Joe Legend (ranked 497 p4p, 597 weight class). Joe Legend is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricky Youngblood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joe Legend!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.

Legend moves out of range of the strikes.
Legend drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Youngblood defends it well.
Legend tries to clinch up but Youngblood circles away and keeps his distance.
Legend takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Youngblood connects with a right hand. Legend shakes it off.
Legend tries to score a power double leg takedown but Youngblood sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Legend somewhat.
Nice defenses there by Legend.
Youngblood looks to land a left hand but Legend moved out of range nicely.
Youngblood throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Legend sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Legend misses with a combination
and Youngblood counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Youngblood bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Legend's head backwards.
Legend fails with the takedown.
A left and a right from Youngblood both land. Nice combination.

Legend is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Legend seems to have recovered his senses.
Ricky Youngblood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Legend.
Legend changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Youngblood fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Youngblood rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Legend moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Youngblood scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Youngblood works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Youngblood throws an overhand right that drops Legend like a sack of potatoes! Youngblood dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Ricky Youngblood started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
