Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Sanchez (ranked 5003 p4p, 7361 weight class) and Damu Umada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damu Umada!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Eddie Farnsworth.

Umada tries to sprawl but Sanchez drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Umada looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Sanchez takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Sanchez is trying to control the action in half guard but Umada is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Sanchez lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Sanchez wants to free his trapped foot but Umada is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sanchez in particular looking to stall.

Sanchez is working for a kimura but Umada is defending it quite comfortably.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sanchez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Umada manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Sanchez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Umada manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Sanchez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Umada swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sanchez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Umada manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sanchez has Umada in his guard.

Umada wants to control from the top but Sanchez keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Umada tries to reverse the position but Sanchez maintains control.

Sanchez stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Sanchez shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Umada is trying to defend but Sanchez finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Umada is working to avoid the ground and pound but Sanchez connects with a decent elbow.

Sanchez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Umada is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Sanchez is taking a breather. Umada says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sanchez, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
