Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ares Praetorian (ranked 3312 p4p, 2657 weight class) and Mike McGuire (ranked 424 p4p, 353 weight class). Praetorian comes to the cage accompanied by Azure Eagles Soaring. McGuire has chosen Jekyll And Hyde as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Praetorian misses with a low kick.
McGuire looks like he wants to counter punch here.

McGuire tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Praetorian was well out of range. Poor timing from McGuire.

Praetorian uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McGuire.
Praetorian throws a lazy right hand but McGuire sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Praetorian backing away here, and McGuire unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Praetorian takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGuire tries to clinch but Praetorian is having none of it.

McGuire takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

McGuire takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Praetorian swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Praetorian tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
McGuire connects with a solid leg kick.
McGuire lands a really nice looking cross but Praetorian seems unphased.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McGuire's corner calls for a 1-2. McGuire obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
McGuire lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A low kick lands for Praetorian.
Praetorian takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Praetorian fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McGuire has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! McGuire throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Praetorian is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
