Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lars Kraulthammer (ranked 2462 p4p, 3857 weight class) and Justin Quinn (ranked 324 p4p, 477 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Justin Quinn was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

Quinn throws a leg kick
and Kraulthammer counters with a shoot takedown. Quinn fights it but they end up in guard.
Quinn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kraulthammer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kraulthammer won't allow Quinn to get back to his feet.
Kraulthammer controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Quinn working a defensive guard but Kraulthammer manages to pass into side control anyway.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kraulthammer grinds an elbow into Quinn's temple.
Kraulthammer is working to tighten his grip on Quinn's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Quinn has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kraulthammer is really squeezing tight and eventually Quinn passes out! Kraulthammer breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Lars Kraulthammer!
