Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nego da Porra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gesias Cavalcante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nego da Porra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gesias Cavalcante! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cavalcante throws the left hand but da Porra avoids the punch easily. Cavalcante looks to land a right hand but da Porra moved out of range. da Porra swings for the body but Cavalcante moves out of range.
Cavalcante misses with a few strikes there.
da Porra shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Cavalcante is trying desperately to improve position. Cavalcante is trying to reverse the position but instead da Porra has taken his back - oops! Cavalcante turns into da Porra and is now in his guard.
da Porra wants to stand and escape but Cavalcante is having none of it. da Porra tries to land a sweep but no joy. da Porra had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Cavalcante is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. da Porra Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Cavalcante's back instead. Cavalcante trying to control the hands but da Porra won't let him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. da Porra controlling from the back. Cavalcante rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. da Porra is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Cavalcante lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Nego da Porra has been cut. Cavalcante scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
da Porra tries to clinch but Cavalcante is having none of it. Excellent takedown into side control there by da Porra. da Porra is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cavalcante is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on da Porra's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cavalcante actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cavalcante looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. da Porra tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cavalcante knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. da Porra could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. da Porra is trying to work for a kimura but Cavalcante is defending well.
Cavalcante is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of da Porra's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take da Porra's back! da Porra might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Cavalcante is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. da Porra defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. da Porra is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. da Porra is trying to defend against the choke here but Cavalcante has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Cavalcante Tightens the hold and da Porra taps out furiously! Cavalcante displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
