Fortier pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Fortier lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Bismack Kagonbo has been cut.
Fortier has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kagonbo is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Fortier looks to land a body kick but Kagonbo moved away.

Fortier throws a chopping leg kick but Kagonbo manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kagonbo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Kagonbo keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

The referee is keeping an eye on Fortier - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Kagonbo has had enough of the clinch but Fortier keeps him there for the moment.
Fortier tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kagonbo just stands there and leans against the cage.

Fortier steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kagonbo.

Fortier throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kagonbo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kagonbo.

That has opened up Hercules Fortier's cut even more.

Fortier gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kagonbo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The cut above Hercules Fortier's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Fortier throws a shot from downtown. Kagonbo moves away and avoids it.
Fortier throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kagonbo.

Fortier now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Kagonbo is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Kagonbo cracks Fortier with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Fortier looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kagonbo finish him?

Fortier thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kagonbo circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Fortier to the canvas! Fortier doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Kagonbo keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
