Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paul Costa !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny McCain!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.

McCain tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Costa lands with a shot to the body.
McCain fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Costa avoids it really well and circles away.
McCain closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
McCain is working for a submission of some sort.
Costa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
McCain looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McCain decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
McCain has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

McCain is looking to regain half guard here but Costa keeps moving and retains side control.

Costa looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
McCain tries to roll over but Costa keeps him under control.

Costa is stalling here. McCain is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Costa seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and McCain has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

A very excited looking Johnny McCain rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
