Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Grant (ranked 4245 p4p, 4549 weight class) and Mica Scott (ranked 72 p4p, 74 weight class). Grant comes into the arena with Kamate Kamate blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Scott throws a hook to the side of Grant's head but Grant sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Scott misses with a straight right.
Scott keeps the fight on the outside.
Grant instigates a clinch.
Grant softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Grant misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Scott.
Scott wants a takedown but no success here.
Grant breaks the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Grant as Scott shoots in.
Grant attempts a counter takedown but Scott avoids it well and moves away.
Grant tries to sprawl but Scott drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Grant is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Island Training Centre that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Grant is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Scott takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Scott slips a nice elbow through Grant's hands, connecting with Grant's forehead.
Grant is trying to stand up here but Scott is controlling him well.
Scott lands strikes from half guard.
Scott wants to control but Grant is keeping him busy.
Grant is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Grant on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Scott lands with a punch from half guard.
Grant looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Scott looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Grant with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Scott lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Grant has hold of Scott's hands but Scott slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Grant tries to roll over but Scott keeps him under control.
Scott is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Scott frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
A big strike lands for Scott! That's really hurt Grant and he's turned his back - Scott keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Scott jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
