Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dillon Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Roth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmer comes to the cage accompanied by Bodies. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dillon Palmer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Matt Roth! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palmer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Roth tries to avoid it but Palmer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Roth to the ground. Roth escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Roth tries to bum rush Palmer with a series of wild strikes but Palmer uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Palmer fails to land the takedown. Roth throws a head kick that misses. Roth throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Roth shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Roth was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Palmer is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Palmer is in all sorts of trouble here.
Roth throws a strike there. Palmer manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
Roth is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Palmer has managed to free his arm - good work. Roth is looking for a kimura but Palmer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Roth to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roth thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Roth missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Palmer is positioning himself well to prevent Roth advancing to mount. Roth is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Palmer is looking for a sweep. Roth is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Roth is working for a kimura but Palmer is defending it quite comfortably.
Palmer is looking to improve his position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Palmer throws a sloppy head kick and Roth moves out of range easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The fighters circle momentarily. Palmer darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Palmer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Roth counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Palmer's guard now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dillon Palmer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Roth content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Palmer has locked up a guillotine! Palmer's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Roth is holding on here and Palmer must be using up a lot of energy. Roth has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Palmer gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
