Mintosharipov takes one to the side of the head.
De Silva lands a right hook to the body.

De Silva takes the fight into the clinch.
Mintosharipov tries to score a body lock takedown but De Silva shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Mintosharipov is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but De Silva is defending well.
De Silva misses with some punches.
Mintosharipov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. De Silva fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vlasdiny Mintosharipov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

De Silva closes the distance and pushes Mintosharipov back into the cage.

De Silva lands a nice hook to Mintosharipov's body. Mintosharipov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Vitor De Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mintosharipov misses with a takedown
and De Silva counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
De Silva swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mintosharipov.

De Silva pushes Mintosharipov up against the cage in a clinch.

De Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
De Silva lands with a hook. Mintosharipov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
De Silva lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Mintosharipov up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs De Silva from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Mintosharipov's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
