Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Meltroco Bimbotinque (ranked 1881 p4p, 2490 weight class) and Conor OShea (ranked 271 p4p, 359 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Meltroco Bimbotinque! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor OShea! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bimbotinque throws a jab when OShea was well out of range. OShea shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. OShea on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. OShea throws a looping overhand right but Bimbotinque ducks down to avoid it. OShea takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bimbotinque throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. OShea tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bimbotinque is in OShea's guard. OShea manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bimbotinque uses good head movement to avoid the hook from OShea. OShea throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
OShea shoots in for a takedown but Bimbotinque shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bimbotinque keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bimbotinque scores with a jab to the jaw. OShea throws a right and a left that both miss. Bimbotinque misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from OShea.
OShea is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. OShea scores with the left hand. Bimbotinque knows he should have avoided that one. OShea shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. OShea throws a right and a left that both miss. Bimbotinque listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. OShea cracks Bimbotinque with a right hand to the side of the head. Bimbotinque swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bimbotinque closes the distance and clinches. Bimbotinque lands with a left to the head. Bimbotinque has clasped his hands together around OShea's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. OShea takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Check out the look on Bimbotinque's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Bimbotinque grinds an elbow into OShea's temple. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bimbotinque in side control, throwing shots but OShea defends. Bimbotinque works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
OShea is rocked! Bimbotinque is putting a hurting on OShea here, landing some big shots from side control. OShea is still in real trouble! Can Bimbotinque finish him? Bimbotinque working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Bimbotinque laying and praying for a moment but OShea takes advantage and regains half guard. OShea seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bimbotinque takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Bimbotinque wants to pass the guard but OShea is defending well. Bimbotinque missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. OShea wants to get back to his feet. OShea felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Bimbotinque seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. OShea slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bimbotinque connects with a couple of short punches. Bimbotinque throws a big right hand that misses. Bimbotinque throws a sloppy strike and OShea has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Bimbotinque is forced to tap! Great BJJ from OShea!
