Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Castor Rollins (ranked 7502 p4p, 4046 weight class) and Corey Clark (ranked 267 p4p, 206 weight class). Rollins comes to the cage accompanied by Ulfheonar. Castor Rollins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 45 - 39 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Castor Rollins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corey Clark ! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rollins throws a leg kick but Clark sees it coming and checks it nicely. Clark fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Rollins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jab by Rollins. Clark shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Clark stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Rollins throws a lazy right hand but Clark sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Clark bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Rollins looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Nice body kick from Rollins. Clark throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rollins's waist but Rollins gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Clark off to one side. Good work by Clark as he checks the leg kick. Clark shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rollins's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Clark slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clark stands up from guard. Let's bang! Clark gets a takedown into half guard. Clark decides to stand up. Clark closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Clark perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Let's hope that Clark has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clark trying to pass the guard but Rollins defending well. Rollins moves into full guard.
Clark controlling from the top position. Clark stands up and waves to Rollins to follow him. Clark shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Clark in particular looking to stall. It looks like Clark might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Clark decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rollins misses with an attempted mid kick.
Rollins rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Clark counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Clark is pressing down on Rollins's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rollins is holding on for now. Clark is controlling the pace.
Clark postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Rollins to stand up. Clark throws a right hand that Rollins ducks under and follows up with a left that Rollins also avoids with ease. Clark fails with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Corey Clark dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Rollins sizes up Clark with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Clark tries to clinch up. Rollins misses with a body kick. Rollins throws out a loose jab but Clark uses good head movement to avoid it. Clark unleashes a big counter combination but Rollins bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Clark takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Clark shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rollins manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Clark not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clark postures up in Rollins's guard and throws a big left but Rollins blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clark wants to pass the guard but Rollins is keeping the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Clark controlling from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clark is continuing to stall. Clark won't allow Rollins to sweep him here. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Clark decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rollins, up you get! Rollins throws a leg kick that is checked and Clark counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Rollins!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clark taking a breather here. The adventures of Clark the control monster continue. Boring. Rollins is not content to let Clark control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rollins is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The referee asks Clark politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Clark prefers to stall for the moment though. Clark decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rollins lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Clark has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Clark and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Rollins throws a jab when Clark was well out of range. Clark is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Clark has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Rollins throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Clark counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rollins won't be happy with that. Clark decides to stand back up. Clark feints and as Rollins raises his hands in defense, Clark changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Clark is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Clark stands up from Rollins's guard - Clark perhaps looking for a knockout. A solid leg kick lands there for Rollins.
Clark avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Clark is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Clark blocks a jab. Clark lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clark staying out of range there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Clark looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Rollins! Clark is trying to ground and pound but Rollins uses the momentary lack of control by Clark to regain half guard. Clark postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Rollins to stand up. Rollins tries to sprawl but Clark drives through with a takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Clark stands up out of the half guard. Clark throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rollins was covering up waiting for the punch and Clark finishes the takedown easily into guard. Clark looking to control the position here, rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Corey Clark showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round! Rollins throws a good cross that connects.
Rollins throws a body punch but Clark moves out of range. Clark shoots in looking for a takedown but Rollins manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Clark 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Clark moves out of range as Rollins strikes. Clark drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Clark decides to stand back up. Clark steps back and let's Rollins get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clark chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rollins can pounce on him.
Clark displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rollins throws out the jab. Clark changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Rollins gets caught flat footed, as Clark shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clark postures up in Rollins's guard and throws a big left but Rollins blocks it. Clark stands up from guard. Let's bang! Clark shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rollins is trying to defend but Clark finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Clark keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Clark 's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Castor Rollins has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Clark . More stalling from Clark . Clark stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Castor Rollins is winning the standup battle so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Rollins. Clark is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rollins's half guard. Clark sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rollins defending well though. Clark is controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clark working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Clark decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A momentary lapse in concentration from Rollins enables Clark to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rollins manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Clark showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Clark passes Rollins's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Corey Clark comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Clark winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
