Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brock Pinklestein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geoff Rezynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pinklestein might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Blood Inside (Nelso Remix) - Beatdrop. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pinklestein tries to close the distance and clinch but Rezynski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rezynski looks to land a combination but Pinklestein avoids it well. Rezynski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Pinklestein scores with a body shot.
Pinklestein is looking to clinch but Rezynski is avoiding it.
Pinklestein paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Pinklestein stuffs the takedown. Rezynski avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brock Pinklestein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rezynski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Rezynski throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Pinklestein is looking to improve his position but Rezynski isn't that keen on the idea. You get the feeling that Pinklestein really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rezynski is going olschool here, as he tries to force Pinklestein to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pinklestein shrugs it off. Rezynski cracks Pinklestein with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rezynski trying to control but Pinklestein is having none of it. Pinklestein is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rezynski scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Rezynski cracks Pinklestein with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rezynski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Pinklestein can't escape the position.
Rezynski looking for a guillotine from mount but Pinklestein is having none of it. Rezynski looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Rezynski misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Pinklestein is squirming around, avoiding Rezynski's attempts to control the action. Rezynski wants to finish this one by submission but Pinklestein is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rezynski. Rezynski with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Pinklestein is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Pinklestein regains half guard. Pinklestein looks like he's trying to stand up.
Pinklestein is not content to let Rezynski control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pinklestein is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rezynski's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rezynski's back! Pinklestein is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Pinklestein scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Rezynski is looking for a way out. Rezynski tries to roll but Pinklestein sticks to his back.
Rezynski is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Pinklestein scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Pinklestein keeps control of the position as Rezynski tries to break free.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Pinklestein working for the choke. You can see the frustration on Rezynski's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Pinklestein is punishing Rezynski with strikes - can he finish him?! Rezynski is trapped and Pinklestein is scoring with shots to the head and body. Rezynski is keeping busy.

I really don't envy Rezynski right now.

Rezynski drops his hands momentarily and Pinklestein takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Rezynski shoots for a double leg takedown but Pinklestein sprawls well. He's pushed Rezynski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A jab from Pinklestein finds it's way through Rezynski's defenses. Rezynski closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pinklestein circles away. No luck for Rezynski with that takedown attempt. Brock Pinklestein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Geoff Rezynski. Pinklestein works the jab nicely. Rezynski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pinklestein tries to avoid it but Rezynski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pinklestein to the ground. Pinklestein escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Pinklestein moves in looking to clinch but Rezynski pushes him off. Pinklestein sizes up Rezynski with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Pinklestein with a lazy takedown attempt and Rezynski counters with a takedown into side control. Pinklestein is not content to let Rezynski control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pinklestein sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rezynski wants to take a breather but Pinklestein is having none of it. Pinklestein trying to control but Rezynski postures up.
Rezynski is just content to waste time from the top position. Pinklestein takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Rezynski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pinklestein swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pinklestein is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rezynski tries to free his leg and advance position but Pinklestein is retaining full guard. Pinklestein looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Pinklestein is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rezynski trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Donk. Pinklestein catches Rezynski right on the button with a cross. Left hook, right uppercut from Pinklestein. Rezynski drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Pinklestein wants to clinch but Rezynski slips to the side and Rezynski counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pinklestein won't be happy with that. Pinklestein takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Pinklestein manages to get back to half guard. Rezynski is looking to take a break and control but Pinklestein is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pinklestein moves into full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Rezynski blocks the body kick.
Pinklestein tries to bum rush Rezynski with a series of wild strikes but Rezynski uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rezynski avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pinklestein doesn't succeed with the takedown so Rezynski counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rezynski trying to control but Pinklestein is working from the bottom. Pinklestein is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rezynski controls from within his opponent's guard. Pinklestein trying to keep a closed guard but Rezynski is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pinklestein has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rezynski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rezynski trying to control but Pinklestein is working from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pinklestein doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Pinklestein gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Pinklestein trying to control the position from guard on top but Rezynski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pinklestein dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Pinklestein!
And that's the end of the fight! Geoff Rezynski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Rezynski has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
