Mitchell is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Michael Jackson - Beat it. The key to victory for Rex Gunn has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Gunn takes a swing at Mitchell's ribcage but misses.
Mitchell takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Mitchell takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Gunn moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gunn scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mitchell doesn't seem bothered though.
We've been hearing reports that Gunn has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Mitchell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gunn.
Gunn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mitchell.
Gunn lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mitchell at a distance.

Mitchell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gunn tries to avoid it but Mitchell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gunn to the ground. Gunn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rex Gunn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Mitchell.
Gunn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Mitchell takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Mitchell was out before he hit the floor!
