Korsemann throws a head kick that Leon semi-blocks.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Leon.
Leon shoots in for a takedown but Korsemann shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Willem Korsemann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leon darts in looking for a takedown but Korsemann gets double underhooks and turns Leon into the cage.
Korsemann throws a counter high kick but Leon was just alert enough to avoid it.
Willem Korsemann has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ace Leon.
Korsemann throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Leon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Korsemann scores with a push kick.
Leon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Whack! Korsemann lands a heavy head kick that drops Leon. The ref tackles Korsemann to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Leon was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Willem Korsemann!
After winning the bout, Willem Korsemann thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
