This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Hughes closes the distance and clinches up with Karter, looking for a takedown. Hughes pushes Karter against the cage but Karter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Karter clinches. Karter wants the takedown. Hughes is fighting it off but Karter persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hughes's guard against the cage. Karter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hughes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?!
