And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Christopher Bridges!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Schlong drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Schlong wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bridges, who protects the arm well.
We've been hearing good reports from Schlong's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Bridges is not content to let Schlong control the position.

Schlong is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bridges is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
You can see the frustration on Bridges's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Schlong is staying tight to Bridges's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Long Schlong decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
