Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Iota Knox (ranked 3586 p4p, 2044 weight class) and Tommy Gavin (ranked 361 p4p, 220 weight class). Knox comes to the cage accompanied by The Blacker The Berry | Kendrick Lamar. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Knox has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Gavin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
It looked like Knox was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Gavin.

Knox is looking to score with low kicks.

Iota Knox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gavin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Knox is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Knox wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Iota Knox is winning the standup battle so far.
Knox uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That kick from Knox tenderised Gavin's leg. Gavin is trying to keep his angry face on.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Gavin might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Knox has got the better of the exchanges.

Knox will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Knox throws a head kick but Gavin moves out of range.
Knox walks straight into a right hand from Gavin - that's dropped him! Gavin jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Knox from any more punishment! Knox complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
