Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alex Gutierrez (ranked 1661 p4p, 1828 weight class) and Andy King (ranked 202 p4p, 226 weight class). King has chosen What's Up as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alex Gutierrez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy King!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.

King takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
King doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Gutierrez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
King shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gutierrez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
King has gone for a leg lock! Gutierrez slips out almost immediately though and dives into King's guard.
Gutierrez stands and throws King's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gutierrez cracks King with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Gutierrez decides to stand back up.
Gutierrez has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gutierrez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
King throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gutierrez rushes King and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! King is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Gutierrez piles on the pressure and King crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Gutierrez!
