Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Junior Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Riley Oconner!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.

Oconner scores with a jab.
Oconner has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Oconner lands a jab to Turner's midsection.
Riley Oconner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oconner lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Turner throws out a loose jab but Oconner uses good head movement to avoid it.
Turner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Oconner scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

It seemed like Oconner was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

We've been told by Turner's head coaches at Cozad The Island that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Oconner feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Turners jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Oconner scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Turner doesn't seem bothered though.

Oconner ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Turner takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Oconner punishes Turner's body with a nice straight punch.
Oconner uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Turner has time to react.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Turner moves forwards but Oconner connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Oconner throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Oconner digs a good body shot into Turner's ribs.
Oconner is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Turner had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Turner looks to land a combination but Oconner avoids it well.

Turner gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Turner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Oconner manages to avoid it.
Turner walks into a stiff left hand from Oconner.
A lazy left from Oconner finds it's target.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Oconner, as that shot connected.
Turner lands with a cross.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Oconner stuns Turner with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Turner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Oconner looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Turner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Oconner circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice straight punches there by Oconner. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Oconner.
Oconner connects with a body shot that sends Turner's belly button to the back.

Oconner rushes Turner and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Oconner keeps control of Turner as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Oconner pushes Turner back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Oconner lands a hook that snaps the head of Turner backwards.

Turner has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Oconner lands with a right to the head.
Oconner cracks Turner with a nice body shot.
Turner is breathing heavily.
Oconner lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Oconner lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Turner backwards.
Oconner lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Turner is rocked!
Oconner lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Oh Turner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Oconner misses with a short punch on the inside.
Turner seems to have got his legs back now.
Turner's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Oconner lands a right hand that snaps the head of Turner backwards.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Oconner lands a hook to the side of the head.
Oconner swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Oconner drops Turner onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Turner is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Riley Oconner dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!

Turner gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Oconner gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Turner is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Riley Oconner!
Riley Oconner decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
