Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 3288 p4p, 3608 weight class) and Martin Looter (ranked 416 p4p, 439 weight class). Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Billie jean . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Silva bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Looter is looking to regain half guard here but Silva keeps moving and retains side control.
Silva cracks Looter with a big right hand but Looter just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Silva distracts Looter with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Silva postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Looter is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Silva , into his guard.

Silva is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Looter can do to turn this around?

Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Looter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Looter is looking to stand up but Silva won't let him.

Looter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Looter has managed to get both his arms back between Silva 's legs - danger averted.

Looter is sitting in close to Silva 's body. Silva has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Looter is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Looter is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Silva .
