Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Okafor (ranked 2600 p4p, 6568 weight class) and Conor McBright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Okafor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McBright throws a series of punches but Okafor avoids them all with ease.
A jab from Okafor misses.
Okafor gets cracked there but stands up to it.
McBright fails to land with a series of punches.
Okafor fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
And McBright tries to counter it with a takedown but Okafor pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Okafor darts in looking for a takedown but McBright gets double underhooks and turns Okafor into the cage.
McBright moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
McBright has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Okafor is landing a low percentage of strikes.
McBright misses with a double jab.
Okafor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McBright but McBright pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Okafor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Okafor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McBright defends well and Okafor ends up having to push McBright into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Okafor gets cracked there but stands up to it.
McBright leaves Okafor with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Okafor feints and as McBright raises his hands in defense, Okafor changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McBright is looking to stand back up but Okafor counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by McBright.

Okafor is nestled in close to McBright, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

McBright keeping moving, preventing Okafor from controlling successfully.
Okafor cracks McBright with a solid left hand.
Okafor definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Okafor distracts McBright with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
McBright wants to stand but Okafor is controlling the position.
Okafor lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Okafor landing with the ground and pound.
Okafor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Okafor works over McBright with some ground and pound from guard.
McBright is still in real trouble! Can Okafor finish him?
Okafor gets to his feet and stands over McBright, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! McBright felt that one! Okafor unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save McBright from any more punishment!
