The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.

Meyer avoids the head kick by MP.
MP throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
MP tries for a takedown but Meyer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Meyer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Meyer pulls guard.
MP stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Meyer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Meyer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. MP gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Meyer trying to keep a closed guard but MP is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
MP landing some decent shots from guard.
Meyer is trying to control the position but MP postures up.
Meyer is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because MP is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
MP advances position into side control!

MP is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Meyer is trying to escape and MP transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Meyer is forced to tap! Nice work there by MP! Very nice indeed!

Michael MP decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
