Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Gascoigne (ranked 5514 p4p, 4069 weight class) and Peter Beardsley (ranked 197 p4p, 166 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Beardsley throws a shot from downtown. Gascoigne moves away and avoids it.
Gascoigne takes a swing at Beardsley's ribcage but misses.
Gascoigne misses with a hook. Beardsley ducked under it nicely.
Beardsley tries to counter with a clinch but Gascoigne shakes him off and moves away.
Beardsley misses with a few strikes there.
Gascoigne throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Beardsley stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Beardsley gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gascoigne.
Gascoigne looks to land a left hand but Beardsley moved out of range nicely.
Gascoigne throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Beardsley ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gascoigne throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oooooh!!! Beardsley has knocked Gascoigne down with a huge combo! Beardsley steps away and waves a wobbly Gascoigne back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Paul Gascoigne has been cut.
Gascoigne looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gascoigne throws a left and a right that both miss
and Beardsley counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Gascoigne out cold! What a finish! Beardsley is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
