Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eladio Vasquez (ranked 7482 p4p, 25465 weight class) and James Tyson (ranked 709 p4p, 768 weight class). Eladio Vasquez had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Vasquez throws a series of punches but Tyson avoids them all with ease.
Vasquez moves out of range as Tyson throws a body kick.
Tyson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Vasquez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Vasquez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

A nice combination there by Vasquez.
Eladio Vasquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tyson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Vasquez smiles and moves away.

Vasquez throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Tyson.
Vasquez lands with a straight right. Tyson didn't see that one coming.
We've been told by Vasquez's head coaches at whitey's gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Vasquez closes the distance and clinches.

Vasquez tries a head kick but it misses.

Vasquez lands a left and a right that send Tyson crashing to the mat, dazed. Vasquez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Tyson is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vasquez works Tyson's body with a nice hook.
Tyson is still on wobbly legs! Can Vasquez finish him?
Tyson looks winded!
Vasquez plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Tyson to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Tyson just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
