Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Motts (ranked 185 p4p, 461 weight class) and Lev Davidovitch Bronstein (ranked 6 p4p, 21 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Motts! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lev Davidovitch Bronstein! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bronstein fails with the takedown and Motts counters with a lovely straight right hand! We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bronstein has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Motts keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bronstein misses with a body shot.
Bronstein tries to clinch but Motts moves out of range. Bronstein closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bronstein wants to control but Motts is keeping him busy. Bronstein in side control, throwing shots but Motts defends. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bronstein working the body and head with strikes. Bronstein lands a decent elbow from side control.
It looks like Jeremy Motts has been cut. Bronstein tries to score with some ground and pound. Motts controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Bronstein lands a nice forearm strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bronstein controls the position. Bronstein sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Motts is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Jeremy Motts's cut is getting worse. Bronstein misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Bronstein wants to control but Motts is keeping him busy. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. It looks like Bronstein might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bronstein cracks Motts with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Jeremy Motts's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Lev Davidovitch Bronstein! Lev Davidovitch Bronstein is the new super heavyweight champion! In his post fight interview, Lev Davidovitch Bronstein started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
