Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Clark (ranked 2366 p4p, 1657 weight class) and David Dilbrandt (ranked 130 p4p, 93 weight class). Dilbrandt has chosen Rock the Dragon as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kurt Clark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Dilbrandt! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

Dilbrandt feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Clarks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Dilbrandt is looking to slow Clark down with leg kicks. Clark follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Dilbrandt scores with a jab. Clark acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Clark moves into range and clinches up with Dilbrandt. Dilbrandt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dilbrandt swats away the attempt to clinch by Clark. As Clark backs off Dilbrandt throws a huge counter combo but Clark manages to avoid it all. Clark lands a two punch combo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big right from Clark misses. Dilbrandt pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Clark lands with a nice combination. Dilbrandt backs away looking to recover. A bone on bone clash there as Clark blocks the leg kick.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Clark misses with a looping right. It seemed like Dilbrandt was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Dilbrandt is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Clark had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Dilbrandt lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Clark scores with a hook. Dilbrandt circles away from the clinch attempt and Dilbrandt counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Clark thinking. Dilbrandt goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Clark seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Dilbrandt blocks a jab. Clark wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. A jab from Clark does it's job there. Clark tries to clinch but Dilbrandt moves out of range. Clark rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dilbrandt moves out of range and avoids them all easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kurt Clark will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kurt Clark's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Clark connects with a looping right hand.

Clark rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dilbrandt moves out of range and avoids them all easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Clark throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Dilbrandt to counter with a crisp jab. Dilbrandt scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Clark waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dilbrandt. Clark throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dilbrandt counters with a left to the body. Dilbrandt throws a nice outside leg kick. Dilbrandt misses with a wild body shot. Clark went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Dilbrandt looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Dilbrandt lands a body shot.
Clark sizes up Dilbrandt with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Clark's corner calls for a 1-2. Clark obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clark's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! Dilbrandt with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Clark to score with a decent uppercut. Dilbrandt has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Clark throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Clark throws a right and a left that Dilbrandt avoids nicely. Clark rushes Dilbrandt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dilbrandt creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Clark lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Dilbrandt blocks a body shot from Clark. Clark blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Dilbrandt tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Clark creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Clark. Dilbrandt manages to break the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dilbrandt's jab looks to have found its range, popping Clark under the eye. Clark looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Clark misses with a wild combination.
Dilbrandt only half commits to the counter leg kick. A big right from Dilbrandt misses. Clark is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Clark defending well as Dilbrandt loads up on a big left hand. Dilbrandt attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Clark keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dilbrandt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Clark closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Clark goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Kurt Clark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A left lands for Dilbrandt. A lazy left from Dilbrandt finds it's target. Nice cross by Clark. Clark looks to land a left hand but Dilbrandt moved out of range nicely.
