Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darrion Moss (ranked 4054 p4p, 22688 weight class) and DeMarcus Ridley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moss's entrance music is Can't C Me. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darrion Moss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, DeMarcus Ridley! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Alan Glass.

Moss trying to control but Ridley is working from the bottom. Moss working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Ridley seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Moss stands and throws Ridley's legs to the side, diving into side control. Ridley is looking to reverse the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moss in side control, just content to control the action for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moss lands a few punches from side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moss swings around for an armbar but Ridley sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Moss's guard. Ridley is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Moss trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Moss pulls Ridley in to control the position. Ridley postures up.
Moss utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Moss is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Moss striking from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Moss seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Ridley postures up in Moss's guard and throws a big left but Moss blocks it. Ridley wants to pass the guard but Moss is keeping the position. Ridley postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ridley is looking to clinch but Moss is avoiding it.
Moss throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ridley's head. Moss fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ridley sprawls well initially but Moss persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ridley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Moss is looking to take a break and control but Ridley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Moss looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Moss thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ridley's head. Moss not landing any meaningful shots this time. Moss is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ridley has managed to free his arm - good work. Moss thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Moss has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Moss works his way into full mount! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ridley can do anything to dispel that myth. Ridley is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Darrion Moss dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ridley. Darrion Moss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moss just misses with a punch to the body.
Moss closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ridley keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ridley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moss. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Moss content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Nice strikes from Moss there. Moss looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Ridley is refusing to be controlled, as Moss sits in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moss winds up and cracks Ridley with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Ridley is rocked! Moss throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ridley is refusing to be controlled, as Moss sits in half guard. Moss lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moss wants to take a breather but Ridley is having none of it. Moss is thwarting Ridley's attempts to control the position. Moss works his way into full mount! Moss controlling his opponent. Poor strikes thrown by Moss there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Ridley is still in real trouble! Can Moss finish him? Oooh a big shot lands for Moss! Ridley is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
