Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sindre Pain (ranked 3025 p4p, 5169 weight class) and Pain Statement Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sindre Pain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pain Statement Jr! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Statement Jr works over Pain's head and body with a nice combination. Statement Jr jabs at Pain's body. Pain looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Pain wants to free his trapped foot but Statement Jr is holding on for dear life with his legs. Pain lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Pain trying to control the pace. Pain is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Statement Jr sees it coming and defends easily. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Statement Jr for as long as he can get away with. Pain is looking for a kimura here.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Pain looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. A looping hook to the body misses from Statement Jr. Pain does a little dance to reset his feet. Pain closes the distance and clinches. Pain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Statement Jr takes a kick to the side of the head. Pain closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Statement Jr quickly recovers to half guard. Statement Jr is in trouble now - Pain has advanced to mount! Pain will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Pain working for a guillotine from mount but Statement Jr is in no mood to give up. Pain tries to control but Statement Jr wriggling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pain has control of Statement Jr's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Statement Jr regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Pain looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Pain wants to control the pace but Statement Jr is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pain is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Statement Jr is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Pain controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pain has control of Statement Jr's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Statement Jr regains control of the situation pretty easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sindre Pain dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Statement Jr slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Pain is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Statement Jr can do to turn this around? Pain has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pain is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Statement Jr to keep the fight standing. Pain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Statement Jr is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Statement Jr misses with a straight left. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pain uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Statement Jr.
Pain moves into the clinch. Pain jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Statement Jr walks away with a smile on his face. Pain gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Pain fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sindre Pain. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Statement Jr throws a series of punches but Pain moves out of range. Pain throws a big counter combination but Statement Jr scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Pain fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Statement Jr sprawls well initially but Pain persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Pain prevents Statement Jr from standing back up.
Sindre Pain overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pain escapes and gets back to his feet. Statement Jr gets tackled into the cage by Pain. Pain maintains the clinch. Pain will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Statement Jr up against the cage. A knee to the head by Pain.
Pain breaks from the clinch.
Statement Jr gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pain trying to control the position from guard on top but Statement Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pain gets to his feet. Statement Jr looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Pain closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Statement Jr quickly recovers to half guard. Statement Jr is trying to maintain the position but Pain is very close to passing his half guard. Pain trying to control the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Statement Jr tries to roll over but Pain keeps him under control. Pain decides to stand up. Pain closes the distance and clinches. Pain taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Pain tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Statement Jr trying to stall but Pain improves his position.
Pain has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Statement Jr after a bit of a struggle. Pain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Pain moves into range and clinches up with Statement Jr. Pain jumps guard and drags Statement Jr to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Pain wants to sweep here but Statement Jr controlling him for the moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pain looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sindre Pain dominated that second round. That's time! Pain's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! Statement Jr listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Pain fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A nice side step and Statement Jr releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Pain avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pain moves out of range of the strikes. Statement Jr throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Pain connects with a high kick. Statement Jr throws a nice looking combination but Pain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Statement Jr misses with a shot to the body and Pain holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pain fails to pull guard.

Statement Jr can't fight it off and eventually Pain manages to take the fight to the floor. Statement Jr looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Pain bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Statement Jr bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Pain scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Statement Jr tests Pain's chin there with a solid looking shot. Pain shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Statement Jr is looking for a sweep. Pain is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pain not landing any meaningful shots this time. Statement Jr is looking to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pain is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Statement Jr defends it well. Pain is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Pain missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Pain works his way into side control. Pain Statement Jr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pain misses with the ground and pound. Statement Jr tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pain wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Sindre Pain is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Pain decides to stand back up. Pain steps back and let's Statement Jr get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sindre Pain. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pain, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
