And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 6 losses; Thad Thayer! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Judge darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Judge has control of Thayer's left arm, preventing Thayer from doing any damage. Thayer looking to pass the guard. Thayer is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.
