Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Patel (ranked 3967 p4p, 6463 weight class) and Mike Leopoldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patel's entrance music is Millidelphia - Meek Mill. A fine choice. Leopoldo has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Marcus Patel has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Leopoldo!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.

Patel misses the shot to the body.
It seemed like Leopoldo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Patel thows a left - swing and a miss!
Leopoldo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Patel throws an off balance right hand
enabling Leopoldo to counter with a crisp jab.
Leopoldo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Patel.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Leopoldo! But no joy.
Patel scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Leopoldo looks winded!
Patel tests Leopoldo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Patel lands a big right hand that sends Leopoldo crashing to the mat! Patel stays standing though and waves Leopoldo back to his feet!
Leopoldo is rocked!
It looks like Mike Leopoldo has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Patel ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Leopoldo's jaw. Leopoldo's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Patel does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Marcus Patel!
