PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Incredible Muay Thai (ranked 5466 p4p, 25504 weight class) and Tex Jackson (ranked 568 p4p, 716 weight class). Tex Jackson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

Jackson tries for a takedown but Muay Thai sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
As Jackson tries to get set, Muay Thai tries to push him back and clinch up but Jackson manages to avoid the attempt.
Muay Thai tries a head kick but it misses.
Jackson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Muay Thai tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jackson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Jackson raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Muay Thai is trying to control but Jackson manages to pass to mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muay Thai is trying to reverse the position but instead Jackson has taken his back - oops!
Jackson just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Muay Thai is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jackson gets his way!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Muay Thai is trying to get back to his feet but Jackson has full control of the position and if anything, Muay Thai has just worked his way into a worse spot.

I really don't envy Muay Thai right now.
