This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 11 wins and 5 losses; Morrison Lee! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 4 losses; Able Archer!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lee wants to control from the top but Archer keeps moving.

Archer has hold of Lee's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lee manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Archer is looking to work his way around to Lee's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Lee looking to improve position, pressing down on Archer's thigh with his hand. Archer seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Lee paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Lee's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Archer picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
