This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 2 losses; Arod Doyea! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 7 losses; Rolf Ottke! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Doyea gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Doyea pulls guard effortlessly. Doyea might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ottke trying to control but Doyea is working from the bottom. Ottke controls from within his opponent's guard. Ottke wants to control from the top but Doyea keeps moving. We've been hearing good reports from Doyea's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Ottke trying to control but Doyea is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Ottke engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Ottke forces his way into half guard. Doyea tries to roll over but Ottke keeps him under control.
Ottke is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Doyea is trying to control but Ottke manages to pass to mount!
