The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Fukumoto closes the distance and clinches up with Zinsou, looking for a takedown. Fukumoto pushes Zinsou against the cage but Zinsou circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Zinsou fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fukumoto to the ground. Zinsou is now in Fukumoto's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Fukumoto (0) vs (2) Zinsou
Zinsou trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Zinsou looks winded!
Fukumoto wants to sweep but no luck.
Zinsou tries to free his leg and advance position but Fukumoto is retaining full guard.
Fukumoto is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Zinsou must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fukumoto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zinsou gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fukumoto working for a triangle but Zinsou defends it easily.
Zinsou passes Fukumoto's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Zinsou tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Zinsou has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Fukumoto tries to improve position but can't.
Fukumoto gets back to half guard.
Fukumoto could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fukumoto slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Fukumoto is trying to keep Zinsou in close.
Fukumoto is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Zinsou has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Fukumoto to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Zinsou is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Fukumoto pulls down on the head and he's put Zinsou to sleep! This one is all over!
