Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Legionarius stuffs the takedown attempt from Briggs. Briggs gets slowly back to his feet.

Legionarius lands a left and a right that send Briggs crashing to the mat, dazed. Legionarius thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Shawn Briggs has been cut.

Legionarius gets a clinch.
Legionarius avoiding damage as Briggs throws knees to the body.

Legionarius breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Legionarius clinches up with Briggs and pushes him back against the cage.

Briggs changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Legionarius tries to avoid it but Briggs manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Legionarius to the ground. Legionarius escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
It looked like Legionarius was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Legionarius closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Legionarius.

Briggs jumps guard.
Legionarius's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Briggs is working an open guard so Legionarius takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Legionarius takes the fight into the clinch.

enabling Legionarius to counter with a crisp jab.
Marcellus Legionarius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shawn Briggs.

Legionarius connects with a superb combination that knocks Briggs out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Legionarius before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Briggs!
